What this usually includes
- Design and build of a marketing site, landing page or campaign page
- WordPress builds where the client needs to edit content themselves
- Static builds (Astro) where they do not, which removes a whole class of maintenance
- Performance work on an existing site that has become slow
- Accessibility basics: keyboard navigation, contrast, reduced-motion support
- On-page SEO structure — headings, metadata, link previews, structured data
How we approach it
The stack follows the content, not the other way around
If the content changes weekly and someone non-technical owns it, that is a CMS. If it changes twice a year, a CMS is a liability you will patch forever. We ask who edits it and how often before choosing anything.
Speed is a build decision, not a plugin
Performance comes from shipping less: fewer scripts, fewer fonts, images at the size they are displayed. A caching plugin on top of a heavy page is a workaround, and it stops working the moment the page changes.
You should be able to leave
No proprietary builder, no template licence tied to us, no hosting you cannot move. If you hire someone else in two years, they should be able to read the code and pick it up.
What you end up with
- The running site, on your domain, with TLS
- Source code in a repository you own
- Whatever editing access the build implies (CMS logins, deploy access)
- A short handover explaining how to change the things you will want to change
What this isn’t
- A logo, brand identity or full design system from scratch — we work with what you have, or with a designer you bring
- A template resold as a custom build
Is this the thing you need building?
